Dead or Alive: The Reaper’s Redemption
My name is Ray Mattax. I was trained to be a hitman known as the Reaper. I was the best at what I did but things eventually went sideways. By sheer force of will, I managed to get away and start over. Everything was great until my past caught up with me. They took my friend…That was a mistake! The Reaper is coming and nothing on earth can stand in my way!

I just finished reading “Dead or Alive: The Reaper’s Redemption” and really enjoyed the book!
I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, but quickly found myself engaged in the story of Ray Mattax and his personal story of Redemption.
The characters were well developed with a great back story and questions and lose ends that came up during the story we’re tied up in the end.
I really enjoyed Ray’s journey and how the author’s, found a creative way to interweave Ray’s past life, present life, friends and family into the tale of his Redemption and coming to accept Christ and therefore take him into his new life.
I would recommend this book the everyone. The book does appeal to people with traditional values and most importantly Christian Values. However, that is something everyone can benefit from. If you’re not a Christian this book can help you to understand God’s saving Grace. If you’ve ever done things that in your mind seem horribly wrong and you cannot be redeemed from, this book helps you to understand how far God’s grace reaches. If you’re a Christian and you’re struggling with why God allows certain things to happen, this book can help you to examine things from God’s point of view and begin to see how “God works together all things for the good of those who love Him.”
In closing, the story had a great message about redemption and salvation that can be found through trusting Christ. Sometimes the message of salvation is so simple that many cannot wrap their mind around why God would want to go to such lengths to have a relationship with them. The Reaper’s Redemption will keep you on the edge of your seat and rooting for Ray as he discovers who he is truly called to be!

It is not often that you can read a fiction novel and find the plan of salvation in it. The book on its own was intertaining. I will be looking for other books by this author.

This a simple story simply told, as direct and crisp as a police report. And, wonder of wonders, no typos.
Christian fiction is a guilty pleasure of mine. I liked this one.
